Funding this gap closure will position this project for a transformative 20 mile off street corridor serving disadvantaged community members that want to walk and bike between the San Gabriel River in Whittier, through La Habra, Brea, Placentia and all the way down to the Santa Ana River in Anaheim.

The project will connect to employment clusters, industrial and commercial businesses, schools, parks, and neighborhoods. This project will promote healthy living for those who work, live, and enjoy recreational activities in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

This funding will allow the Task Force to continue for an additional year, thus continuing their innovative work to make the 39th Congressional District a safer place.
