Rep. Young Kim Speaks at House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing

Placentia, CA – U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-39) will travel to Israel on Friday, February 18, 2022, for an educational seminar to gain a firsthand understanding of regional challenges and America’s strategic relationship with Israel.

Congresswoman Kim will learn more about the U.S.-Israel relationship, the peace process, Israel’s security situation and important political and economic trends in the region. She will meet with senior leaders and explore opportunities for bilateral economic, technological and security cooperation with our allies.

“Israel is an important ally and economic and security partner of the United States. At a time of great instability in the region, our partnership is more important than ever,” said Kim. “I am looking forward to seeing firsthand the tools and technology Israel is using in its fight against terrorism and learning how we can strengthen our alliance and work toward lasting peace in the region. I am hopeful for a productive trip that will allow us to work on policy solutions in Congress.”

Congresswoman Kim will leave on Friday, February 18, 2022 and is scheduled to return on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The trip is sponsored by the American Israel Educational Foundation (AIEF).
