Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-40) announced that San Bernardino County Fire Chief Dan Munsey is her guest to President Trump’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Chief Munsey and his team work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and have been vital partners to work with on bipartisan bills such as the Wildfire Technology Demonstration, Evaluation, Modernization, and Optimization (DEMO) Act to expand wildfire technologies and the Restoring Our Unopened Trails for Enjoyment and Safety (ROUTES) Act to restore federal sites damaged by natural disasters.
“Chief Munsey and his team run into harm’s way to keep us safe from wildfires, and his insight has been critical as I work in Congress to ensure our local first responders on the ground have the latest tools at their disposal to do their jobs,” said Rep. Young Kim. “I am proud to have him as my guest tonight and look forward to continuing to work with him to protect public safety in San Bernardino County and across Southern California.”
