WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-39) released the following statement after continuing her commitment to create commonsense, bipartisan policies in Congress by joining the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus:
“I came to Congress to break through the partisan gridlock and get things done for the 39th District of California,” said Rep. Kim. “I am thrilled to be able to keep my promise to my constituents to work in a bipartisan way and hit the ground running with these like-minded members who want to find consensus. The Problem Solvers Caucus is Congress working at its best, and has played a significant role in making bipartisan deals on COVID-19 relief, immigration reform, health care and other important policy issues. I look forward to finding common ground with my colleagues and being a bipartisan voice for the 39th District of California.”
The Problem Solvers Caucus is comprised of representatives from across the country committed to finding common ground on many of the key issues facing the nation. The caucus is co-chaired by Reps. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) and Tom Reed (NY-23) and is equally divided between Democrats and Republicans.
