Each year, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts the Congressional App Challenge. This is an annual coding competition designed to encourage student participation in computer science and coding and an opportunity for students to compete against their peers by creating an application (also known as an “app”) for desktop/PC, web, tablet, mobile, raspberry Pi or other devices. Previous Congressional App Challenge winners’ apps are displayed on the Congressional App Challenge page.
The winner from CA-40, chosen by a panel of expert judges, will be featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.us.
The Congressional App Challenge is open to all middle and high school students in CA-40.
