Spectrum News: Celebrating America 250 at the Reagan Library
This week on “In Focus California,” host Tanya McRae commemorates America 250 from The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. “In Focus” explores a unique exhibit at the library that offers a chance to reflect on the people, events and ideals that shaped America’s 250 years.
The exhibit takes visitors on a journey through the moments and milestones that span from the Revolutionary War era through the Reagan presidency and includes rare historical artifacts on display for the first time.
McRae also talks to the chairman of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, Fred Ryan Jr., to look back at President Reagan’s impact as “The Great Communicator” and the influence of his words and leadership.
Rep. Young Kim also joins “In Focus California” to reflect on what makes the experience of becoming an American so meaningful, and highlights community celebrations taking place in California’s 40th Congressional District.
