Rep. Young Kim Meets with Local Officials about the 57/60 Confluence Project

Jun 10, 2021 | Economy, Press Releases

Washington, DC – Today, the Problem Solvers Caucus endorsed a bipartisan infrastructure framework of potential language amid ongoing conversations in the Senate.

U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-39) is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus Infrastructure Working Group that put together the framework.

“California’s 39th District is home to major trade corridors such as the 57/60 Freeway Confluence, which is the worst truck bottleneck in the state and sixth-worst in the nation. Our infrastructure pathways are the bridge to economic growth and job creation, which is why we must come together to pass a targeted bill that meets communities’ needs,” said Kim. “I’m proud to serve on the Problem Solvers Caucus Infrastructure  Working Group that helped craft the ‘Building Bridges’  framework to improve roads, highways, bridges, ports and broadband across the country. I urge the Biden administration  and Senate and House leadership to consider this proposal.”
