Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-39) today announced she will serve on two House Foreign Affairs Subcommittees. Rep. Kim will serve on the Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia, and Nonproliferation and the Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights.

“I am thrilled to be able to add my voice to the Subcommittees on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia, and Nonproliferation and on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights. From trade agreements and international commerce to key relationships with our allies in Asia, these two subcommittees will directly impact my constituents in the 39th District of California and the country in today’s connected world,” said Kim.

“I am excited to welcome Young to the Subcommittees on Asia, the Pacific, Central Asia, and Nonproliferation and on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights. Her experience in foreign policy will be important for the work of these subcommittees and advancing US interests around the world,” said House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul (TX-10).
